EMF.exposed is a free, educational reference site. This page explains what information the site does and does not collect, and how cookies and advertising work here.

The short version

• The EMF exposure calculator runs entirely in your browser. The devices, distances and usage values you enter are never transmitted to us — no account is required and none exists.
• We do not sell personal data. We do not send marketing email.
• The site displays advertising (Google AdSense) and uses cookies, including cookies set by Google and its advertising partners, as described below.

Information we collect

EMF.exposed is a static website. It has no registration, no comment forms and no databases of visitor records. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamps — for security, abuse prevention and delivery. This data is retained by the provider under its own policies.

If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send (typically your email address and message). We use it only to respond to you.

Cookies and Google advertising

This site is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie and similar identifiers) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Where required by law (for example in the EU/UK), consent for advertising cookies is requested before personalised ads are shown. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the calculator works with cookies disabled.

Analytics

We use privacy-conscious, aggregated traffic analytics (Ahrefs Analytics and Google Analytics) to understand which pages are read. These services set cookies or use similar technologies and receive technical data such as page URL, referrer, device type and an anonymised/IP-truncated client identifier. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles ourselves.

Health information

Content on this site — including calculator results — is educational and theoretical. We do not receive, store or process health data about you. See our Terms of Use for the full educational-purpose disclaimer.

Your choices and requests

Because we do not maintain visitor accounts or databases, we hold no visitor profile to access, correct or delete. For questions about this policy, advertising on the site, or to exercise a data request against what little we hold (your correspondence), email feedback@emf.exposed.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes (for example if advertising partners change). The effective date above will be updated, and material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
